Meals from the Heartland needs your help to package meals for Haiti! We are partnering with Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines to package as much food as possible the week of February 22 to send to Haiti.

Please pray for the safety and protection of those affected by the recent earthquake in Haiti. Pray that God will touch hearts, guide feet and hands and keep all safe in our efforts to feed the devastated country.

A couple hours of teamwork is all it took for MftH and a group from Drake University’s athletic department to package 12,000 meals.

With a relatively small group of students and athletes form Drake, we were able to package over 12,000 meals. It was a great kick off event and we’re looking forward to more success throughout the year!

The efforts made by Meals from the Heartland in 2008 gave these children a more hopeful outlook on the future, knowing that the volunteers and donations from MftH provided their community millions of desperately needed meals.
