Our Process
As a non-profit organization, Meals from the Heartland is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who approves the distribution of food based upon recommendations from a committee. Factors considered in making this decision include the number of meals available, the need/requests received and the ability of partner organizations to assure that food can be safely transported and distributed to people in need, as intended.

Meals from the Heartland is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization composed of volunteers who package meals for delivery to starving people around the world. Individuals, businesses, schools, churches and various civic organizations have come together to show the nation and the world what people who truly care can accomplish.
