With a relatively small group of students and athletes from Drake, in 2008 we were able to package more than 12,000 meals. It was a great kick off event and we pray for more success every year!

The efforts made by Meals from the Heartland in 2008 gave these children a more hopeful outlook on the future, knowing that the volunteers and donations from MftH provided their community millions of desperately needed meals.

Brad Krehlik and Mark Aeilts were an integral part of the success Meals from the Heartland experienced in 2008. They headed the MftH board and accompanied the delivery of the meals to Haiti in October 2008.

The meals you help us provide are the most nutritious meals some children have had in a long time and may be their only meal for the week.
Meals from the Heartland is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization composed of volunteers who package meals for delivery to starving people around the world. Individuals, businesses, schools, churches and various civic organizations have come together to show the nation and the world what people who truly care can accomplish.
